Russian playgrounds - from bizarre to plain scary

Many years have passed since the time when all Soviet Russia was covered in uniform playgrounds. A bit ascetic and rough, these small analogues of army-style obstacle courses developed children’s endurance and creative imagination. In modern Russia, cities and towns choose to build their own playgrounds with projects not approved by Communist censors. Or any censors at all.  Vandals and natural wear and tear add up a bit, and here is what we have as a result…
